Certified sailors are able to cruise safely in regional waters as both skipper and crew aboard a 27-foot performance trimaran. The standard includes skills different and/or unique to a trailerable folding trimaran.
Experience the difference between traditional monohull keelboats and a performance-oriented trimaran, including stepping a mast, rigging for sailing, launching and retrieval, and all aspects of on-the-water sailing at double-digit speeds.
Savor the feeling of sailing at the speed of the wind with little or no heeling...suppress the giggles and screams of joy as your Corsair F-27 classroom rocks across the bay at twice the speeds of comparable monohulls. Roll out the "screecher" and experience the power of a spinnaker with roller furling ease. Step off your boat in knee-deep water while setting an anchor ashore on a sandy beach right off the bow.
Appreciate the simplicity of an easy to handle but fast sailboat which can be rigged and read to sail in less than an hour and trailered to your favorite cruising grounds at highway speeds. Learn to rig and sail this boat at ISS...offering the only ASA-certified trailerable multihull course in the South!
