DISCOVER FLORIDA'S SUNCOAST!
Less fast lane than Miami but with plenty of attractions, the Tampa - St. Petersburg area is described by Fodor's as having that elusive quality that many attribute to the real Florida. From the coast's white sand beaches and barrier islands to the city's attractions, restaurants, and museums, the area offers great diversity.
St. Petersburg's downtown area has unique restaurants, shops, and museums, including Baywalk (upscale shopping) and the Salvador Dali Museum. Tampa Bay area attractions include Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, and Ft. Desoto Park, rated the #1 beach in the U.S. in 2005. Further south, Sarasota and Bradenton offer more beaches and attractions.
Outdoor seafood restaurants, raw bars and Tiki bars are everywhere, as are tennis courts and golf courses. Spring Training brings lots of baseball teams here, and Tampa Bay is home to professional teams in baseball, hockey and football (Rays, Lightning, and Buccaneers).
There are three major airports serving the area including Tampa International, Clearwater/St. Petersburg and Sarasota/Bradenton; making it easy for you to join us. So come on down, warm up, chill out, introduce yourself to a pelican, dolphin, or manatee and Sail In Paradise!
